JyotishWorld (“we”, “us”), run by Shashi Kant Singhal, operates the website jyotishworld.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the site or ask us a question, how we use it, and the choices you have.

When you submit a consultation question we collect:

• Your name and email address
• Your date, time and place of birth
• Your question and any additional context you choose to share
• Your payment reference (the Razorpay order and payment ID) once you have paid

If you write a review, we collect your name, city, rating and the review text. We also receive basic technical data such as browser type and IP address through our hosting and security tools.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. Your card, UPI, netbanking or wallet details are entered on Razorpay’s secure payment window and are handled by Razorpay. We do not see or store your card number, UPI PIN, bank credentials or any other payment instrument details. We only receive confirmation of the payment and its reference number. Razorpay’s own privacy notice applies to the data it collects.

• To study your birth details and prepare your answer or report
• To email you a confirmation and your answer
• To verify your payment and keep a record of it
• To reply to your messages and support requests
• To display reviews you submit on the website
• To keep the website secure and prevent spam or misuse

We do not use your birth details or questions for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

5. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers needed to run the service: Razorpay (payments), Google Workspace (email), and our website hosting provider. They process data only to provide their services. We may also disclose information if required by law.

6. How long we keep it

We keep consultation details and payment records for as long as needed to deliver the service, handle follow-up questions, and meet legal and accounting requirements. You can ask us to delete your information (see section 8).

7. Security

The website uses HTTPS, and access to our records is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

8. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to withdraw your consent to our using it, by emailing consult@jyotishworld.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. Deleting information we need for legal or accounting purposes may not be possible until the required period has passed.

9. Cookies

The website uses only the cookies required for it to work properly, together with those set by Razorpay when you pay. We do not run advertising trackers.

10. Children

This service is intended for adults. If you are under 18, please use it only with a parent or guardian.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with its updated date.
